Seventeen Days to Caterpillars
Just 17 more days and I will be landing in New Orleans ready to participate in fieldwork for Dr. Lee A. Dyer's study of Climate Change and Caterpillars. Students at James John Elementary in Portland, OR will share in this experience with me through photos, video, and commentary on my blog. Together we will learn about the lives of caterpillars that reside in the Pearl River Wildlife Management Area in Slidell, Louisiana. What could be more fun than catching caterpillars and showing James John students what scientists do, both in the field and at Tulane University in New Orleans?
