There are many kinds of forests. What kind of forest will I be in? You should be able to figure it out...

I'll post the answer in my next blog which will be coming to you from the trees...

Send me your questions and comments, kids!

Dear Ms. Cahn,
Class 5-206
We really enjoyed your 'walk through the forest website'
Our questions are mostly about what the temperature is there and what the trees look like right now. We also want to know what animals you have seen. Do you know if there are any camouflaged animals in the forest you are in?

We learned that there are no tigers or monkeys in your type of forest. However, from the website, we read poison ivy and conks can be found in temperate forests. Have you seen any of these plants or fungi there?

What is the temperature today? Is it warmer or cooler than usual for this forest. Do you think climate change is happening there?
