Hello my friends! Welcome to my Arctic Edge Adventure! In February I will be traveling to Churchill, Canada to assist scientists in their ongoing research about climate change. After sailing the equatorial Pacific studying ocean characteristics, this is going to be quite a contrast. I hope I don't freeze to death as I bundle up and measure snow depths! :) I would love to have you "join" me on my journey by following along with my blog and participating in the challenges I will be posting. Together we can learn some things about an ecosystem that is new to me, real-world science and field research techniques, and the ongoing effects of climate change on our world. I look forward to sharing my experiences with you! Stay tuned...

Is a Polar Bear's skin black or regular color? I heard it's different from a zebra where the color of the skin might match the zebra's stripes.
