Climate Change at the Arctic's Edge with Ms. Santoro

Hello! Welcome to my blog. I recently traveled to Churchill, Canada to work with scientists studying the impact of climate change. They are trying to learn more about our planet in order to help us take care of it. Please join me in helping children learn about the ways that people all over the world take care of our planet. Write in now. Look for one of the blue "comments" words. Click on it and leave me a message about how you REDUCE, REUSE or RECYCLE.

Recycling Bottles

Jeremy, age 9, from West Hartford wrote to tell me he brings water bottles to school.  He reuses one bottle all week and then recycles it.  He is saving up the money from his recycled bottles to buy a new game.

It's always a good idea to recycle plastic bottles, Jeremy.  Thank you for writing in the comments section.

Don't forget, if you'd like to have me post a photo of something you've recycled, reduced or reused you can  send it to: santorol@glastonburyus.org

I can't wait to hear from more of you!

Miss Santoro
