What Should I Pack for New Orleans?

New Orleans is a fascinating city. It is known for jazz and amazing food. I will be flying into New Orleans on Sunday. Then I will spend the next 7 days at the Pearl River Wildlife Management area. I'm getting ready to pack my bags. Can you help me figure out what I'll need to pack?

First, find the answers to the following questions to to help you make a packing list.
1. In general, what type of climate does New Orleans have? What is the latitude and longitude of New Orleans?
2. What is the average high and low temperature (in Celsius) in New Orleans in September? To convert from Fahrenheit to Celsius, use the following formula: subtract 32, then multiply by 5 and then divide by 9.
4. What is the average rainfall for September in New Orleans. If 1 inch = 2.54 cm, how many cm would that be?
5. What is the average humidity for September in New Orleans?

Now make a packing list of items I will need. Include the ten most important items
Post both your answers to the questions and the packing list in the comment section of this entry.
