Hi guys, thank you for responding to my blog. I will try to put up new posts as often as possible to answer most of your questions and give you updates, but also be sure to check under "comments" to see if I directly replied to what you asked.  For now, to try to respond to all of you at once, its around 50 degrees here today but was cold this morning and last night, and the wind is chilly, but they haven't had any snow here in over a week. It is supposed to get colder later this week, and we may even get some snow, especially overnight when it is coldest. You can check the weather for Churchill by clicking here. I still haven't seen any polar bears, and they have someone who carries a shotgun with them at all times when we are outside, because they don't want to let polar bears get too close to us in case they do show up, so they can shoot into the air and scare them away. On Saturday though, we have the day off from doing research and we are going on a tour to see the area and the wildlife, and that is when we will be most likely to see the bears. And yes, I will take lots of pictures. And I have already started to collect some of the cool rocks I have seen here to bring them back for Ms. Wong and her students, especially Lamont. I will talk to you guys again soon
