My Expedition

Now that we're back at school and almost all settled in, let me tell you about my expedition. I will be traveling to Churchill, in Manitoba, Canada from September 21 to October 1, 2008. I will be traveling with a group of other teachers from all different parts of the country to study climate change. Churchill is a very different environment than here, with a different climate, many fewer people, and many more polar bears. In the next two weeks, we will be learning more about Churchill, the surrounding area, its climate, and the factors that are affecting climate change that I will be studying while I am there.

This is Ms.Busumsi.For the purposes of this blog, some of my classes will be using one account each, but the students will identify themselves before posting anything.
The kids are very excited but somehow do not seem to believe (or grasp)the fact that their own Science teacher might have close encounters with polar Bears!they think it's something out of a documentary until they see your photo on the team page.
Keep us posted!WE WANT PICTURES!:)
