Visiting Churchill

Here is a link to the town of Churchill, Manitoba.   Although I will be spending most of my time working, I may have some time in town.   What do you think I should see?   Keep in mind that I will be there at the end of September.

I think that you might if lucky get to see a polar bear. I think you probably have to me lucky because the glaciers just melted in July and It might not of snowed or gotten that cold yet at Churchill. And if you go whale watching it would be cool if you saw a Beluga whale.

Rony - I would love to see a polar bear!! I have seen them at the Bronx Zoo, but seeing them in their natural habitat will be very cool - literally and figuratively!

Kind of random but scientists found some Nano Diamonds in Canada, I'm pretty sure it is around your area. It is really amazing, because they are about 4nm long. Scientist think that nano Diamonds come from astreoids or comets that impact the earth.

I read that hundreds of Polor Bears congregate around the Churchill area around the fall waiting for the ice to pack on the Hudson Bay, so you might be luck enough to look at alot of amazing Polor Bears just passing the time. I hope you have a nice trip and a safe flight.
Enjoy.
