Evacuation
Today they are mandatorily evacuating New Orleans. If Gustav hits not sure where this leaves me and our expedition. On the other hand if it did happen andI am still allowed to go there would be some really interesting stuff to see when I bring it back to school.
I am sure the people are New Orleans feel a sense of deja vu. Katrina was three years ago. Many people have said to have packed up this time.
Was there a time you had to do this? Did you ever have to pack up your most important possessions and move somewhere unsure of what the future held? If you had to do it today what would you take with you?
When I was younger I would always say things.... I would always say pictures, or my journal, or sometimes that sweater I really liked.
I wouldn't say that at all right now. I would only worry about two other people. My husband James and my son Max. Those are the only things I would want with me. Everything else can be replaced. Pictures may not be able to be replaced but memories will still be there and those two people would be with me and we would have the stories of our adventures.

Well, there's not much about my summer really. I did a little bit of this and a little bit of that.I'm just playing. I really just spent time with my family.I mostly watched t.v the whole summer though.I went to New Jersey for a little family reunion or cookout as you might say. I hung out with my brothers and sisters a lot and we really had a good old time with each other.My brother really had all of the fun though. He went with my cousin and his mom to Virginia. So they could only invite one person with them, and they chose kendohl, my brother. I was like what. I was pissed. So next thing you Know they just ditch me at home with my mom. That's when my brother and sister came over, and so i went to the park and to their house with theit was alright. I want vingins. So my brother stayed their for a week, and I only missed him for one day then I was over it. So that's what I did for my summer. See ya next time.
This is Aliya Guerrero from 7B. My summer was fun and my brother and sisiter birthday is this week. So I can't wait until I go home this weekend. I hope that have a nice weekend also Mrs. Lewis!
I really didnt do anything this summer mrs. lewis but i can say that i went to the lake 4 a while and that i went to the poconos and i went to camal beach and had lots of fun. But thats the only thing but i had a party 4 my b-day also it was august 23, 2008 but thanks again and bye! Love, Princess N. Clark
this summer gave me mixed feelings about my family. sometimesi always want to be around them and sometimes i just wish they were away from me for just a little while.i dont see how you can miss your husband and your maxy when your on a nice vacation like that.
