My love of the ocean began as a child when I first explored the coral reefs of Guam. Learning about the organisms that inhabit coral reefs soon became one of my lifelong passions. Little did I know that someday I would have the amazing opportunity to help protect one of Earth's greatest ecosystems! Join me as I work with a team of researchers and volunteers to understand how the reefs respond to environmental pressures and find new ways to restore the damaged reefs.

Goodbye Boston!

I am getting ready to embark on my adventure to the Bahamas. In just a few hours, my plane will leave for Atlanta. Don't worry, I'm really going to the San Salvador - I just have to go through Atlanta, Miami, and Nassau first! As much as I'll miss everyone in Boston, I certainly won't mind getting out of the snow for a week. Enjoy the rest of your February vacation and I look forward to hearing from all of you next week.
